Caring for your chocolates

When placing your order, please note that all of our gourmet chocolates are preservative-free and have a maximum shelf life of 3 weeks.

Please keep your chocolates in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight. Our chocolates contain fresh ingredients, including cream, butter, fruits, nuts, and herbs, and are therefore perishable.

Keep the chocolates in their original packaging. Chocolates absorb odors and moisture, so keep this in mind when deciding where to store your chocolate until you’re ready to enjoy it.

Our chocolates are at their best if eaten within 2 to 3 weeks of purchase. If they’re wrapped well, they can be refrigerated or stored in the freezer. If your chocolate has been stored in the refrigerator, gradually bring it to room temperature before eating. If the chocolate is frozen, store it in the refrigerator for a day or two, then bring it to room temperature to avoid “shocking” the chocolate, which compromises its taste and texture. To best appreciate the extraordinarily gratifying experience of our chocolates, let them melt in your mouth slowly.
